Here on my screen is the Decadence kit which I'm going to combine with Craftwork Cards "Touch of Glamour" and "Gilded Cages" stamps and see what I can come up with.
Before next week I thought I would add a note of thanks to Julia for starting all this. Wonder if she realised just what she was getting into. In seven weeks I've discovered wonderful people and visited desks all over the world. I would love to visit them all and leave comments but exhaustion and real life get in the way. There are others with difficult health conditions like me and difficult home circumstances but we are all united in our love of craft-which I believe makes the world go round. (You'll have me in tears soon!)
More than the above it has motivated me to try -or revisit-other techniques. I've learned stuff too and I've also seen on other people's desk things I've got. I'm sure I'll think of something else during the day but grey matter isn't warmed up yet.
Thanks again Julia, have a lovely day and if anybody is reading this who hasn't given it a go yet get over to www.stamping-ground.blogspot.com -you know you want to.
I've only been at this a few weeks, and I've learned a lot of different techniques and storage ideas, too. It sure makes it all worthwhile. I agree that Julia should be praised for starting all this.
ReplyDeleteSorry your other electronic devices interfere with your computer. Looks like you have a decent solution, though. Hope you have a great number 7 WOYWW.
What a great idea having digi downloads. Definately takes up less space. Just need the techy know-how!

I love to craft digitally and have lots of did downloads stored - i'm also big into CD crafting so have a box of cd's instead of piles and piles of paper - which i would never want to cut into or use...
ReplyDeleteBest of both worlds me thinks cos if you only want half a page - you can print only half a page - but at approx 7p per print - who cares if you have a piece of scrap for use at a later time.

ReplyDeleteGosh Betty, you credit me with far too much. Here I ma on Friday just polishing off my visits..I love it, but it does take time! I have a similar prob with my Digi Radio - it works perfectly on a shelf upstairs, and not at all in my downstairs workroom. Hate that!
